Memorial Day is a time when our nation honors those fallen men and women of the military who have paid the eventual price to defend the United States. It is also a time when we be supposed to reflect on what we can and are doing to support our active duty veterans who hope to one day successfully complete their missions and come home safely. These veterans are also looking for a piece of the “American Dream” — to own a home, have a good job, and receive a good wage from jobs created for them by a grateful nation.
To achieve this, I have begun an employment campaign based on the idea of “Good Jobs for Everyone.” Our goal is to assist veterans with resources and know-how necessary to obtain meaningful careers and make the most of their employment opportunities.
