Barack Obama Celebrate quiet holiday at White House

President Barack Obama famous Thanksgiving quietly at the White House with his family, friends and some White House staff associate after phoning 10 associate of the U.S. armed services in Afghanistan. 

The president was joining initial lady Michelle Obama and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, later Thursday for banquet, where they were to be joined by White House staff members and visitors. 

The Thanksgiving dinner menu incorporated ham, oyster wadding and macaroni and cheese along with the conventional turkey, sweet potatoes and green bean casserole. For folks with a sweet tooth, half a dozen pies, counting Huckleberry, were prepared. 

In his weekly radio and Internet lecture to, released in relationship with the holiday, Obama urged Americans to put aside enthusiast differences and come mutually as a nation. 

In the Republican gathering address, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington State said the GOP is prepared to work with Obama to prevent imminent tax increases, big expenditure cuts and other troubles at year's end. 

While the election necessary voters to make alternative, Obama said that Thanksgiving obtainable "a chance to put it all in standpoint to memorize that, despite our dissimilarity, we are and always will be Americans first and leading."
